STEYR CVT tractors also open up new dimensions in chassis technology. The comfortable 4-wheel drive and differential lock operation of STEYR CVT tractors enables them to transfer the high engine power to the ground and transform it into high tractive force. An active front axle suspension system offers new standards of safety and driving comfort. Comfort can further be enhanced by the cab suspension*. Safety in the STEYR CVT tractor is ensured with smooth, precise steering and a hydraulically operated multiple disk brake that runs in an oil bath and achieves a high braking effect with low pedal forces.

Electronic front axle suspension
Superb handling and a smooth ride on the road and in the field are benefits that you actually feel. This advanced system also prevents oscillation when travelling at speed and helps deliver more power to the ground thanks to increased traction.

Automatic 4WD and differential lock*
Four wheel drive and differential lock actuation is semi-automatic to maintain your working efficiency. You can select three 4WD/differential lock operation functions: OFF / ON / AUTOMATIC.

Steering without effort
The servostatic steering is supplied with hydraulic oil from a load sensing circuit. This feature ensures you enjoy responsive steering in every speed range. The position of the steering wheel, which can be adjusted vertically and in inclination, can be adapted to the individual operator to permit a fatigue-free seating position.

Increased safety thanks to STEYR Opti-Stop.
Four wheel drive is automatically switched on when the brake pedal is applied so the braking effect is transmitted to all four wheels.
