High-tech series 9100: reliability made by Steyr

Top technology, superior comfort, and a mature concept: The 9100s have been synonymous for reliability make Steyr. It is not for nothing that they are among the market leaders in the category 100 to 150 HP. The new additional comfort makes working noticeable more comfortable.

The spacious storage behind the operator offers additional storage facilities. The air-suspension driver´s seat De Luxe is well known from the CVT. And: the fashionable light grey of the cab roof rounds off the superb environment. „The tractors of series 9100 have everything tractors have to offer in terms of current state of the art„, says Steyr sales manager for Austria Manfred Rinner. „PowerShuttle, powerful front attachment technology, high-traction engines, high hydraulic power rating, a sloping front bonnet and a multitude of equipment features are the most important plus points for the 9100s. In this way the potential of the tractors can be used to the optimum”.

The strengths of the 9100s

Austrian fields cannot be imagined without the four models with 109, 119, 129 and 150 PS. „Agricultural and transport work are the craft of the 9100s. That’s where their strengths come to the fore”, promises Rinner. „The concept of the 9100s is mature down to the detail”.
The Steyr sales manager mentions 3 examples:

• „The Steyr power shuttle with 24 forward and 24 reverse speeds and 4-way load-shift ideally converts the power of the high-traction engines when working with heavy implements such as ploughs or grubbers”.
• „The MultiController proves to be a hit during seed bed preparation and sowing at the turning end of the field. All important functions required for turning are integrated in the clever handle. In addition to lifting and lowering implements this also includes the possibility of operating two auxiliary control units and selecting the change in the direction of driving”.
• „The practical stepping of the transmission, entirely without any transmission ranges, turns the 9100s into universal tractors: Gears are shifted only with one gear lever and the Multi-Controller”.

Powerful engines – greater economy

The 9105 is driven by a 4-cylinder turbo-diesel, while 6-cylinder engines supply the power in the 9115, 9125 and 9145 units. Rinner: „The engines provide constant power over a wide speed range. Together with the excess power this means: less shifting and greater economy”.
