Steyr on the Austro Agrar in Tulln and on the Rieder trade fair

Innovation hit parade by Steyr

Even more power and comfort are promised by the many detail improvements to be presented by Steyr at the agricultural equipment trade fairs in the next weeks. In focus: The "professional grassland package"for the tractors of series 9000 with electrohydraulically controlled differential lock, electronic front power lift and braked front axle. Also available for the 9000 series for autumn: The axle-guided front powerlift.

"Welcome to the world of Steyr"is the invitation to this year¹s imminent autumn exhibitions. At the Austro Agrar from 12 to 16 September in Tulln (this year the main Austrian agricultural technology exhibition) Steyr will present the complete tractor programme and all innovations. At the Rieder exhibition, one week before (from 4 to 9 September), the Austrian tractor manufacturer will be represented by dealers.
"We constantly endeavour to adapt our models and incorporate experiences and practical tips in the series", says Steyr Austria Sales Manager Rudolf Hinterberger in presenting the new innovation hit parade:

Steyr hit number 1: Professional grassland package for M 9000
For the tractors of series M9000 Steyr has put together a very special "professional grassland package". Apart from an electrohydraulically controlled differential lock, this includes the electronic front power lift EFH and the braked (Alpine) front axle. Hinterberger: "Steyr has included the state-of-the-art technology for grassland operations in this package. Thanks to EFH it does not only enable more power but offers more safety especially in steep terrain".

Steyr hit number 2: Axle-guided front power lift now also for M 9000
This design of the front powerlift proven for the M 900 the lower steering arms are directly attached to the front axle is tailor-made for grassland work on slopes. The advantage: It enables accurate guidance of the attached implements matched to the ground.

Steyr hit number 3: Load sensing hydraulics for M 9000
The powerful particularly sensitive and fuel-saving load-sensing hydraulic system will be available for Steyr M 9000 with EHR from autumn. It allows the supply and operation of several control units in parallel and independent of each other. In this way it is possible for instance to simultaneously adjust the hydraulic motor-operated scraping base and the pickups for instance in a loading wagon.

Steyr hit number 4: Second auxiliary lift cylinder for M 900
With the comfort and professional models of series 900, two additional lifting cylinders and consequently a considerable increase of the lifting power will be available in future as standard instead of one lifting cylinder. Hinterberger considers this to be a decisive improvement of the customer benefit: "The lifting force increase by roughly 400 kg makes the 900 series even more versatile".

Steyr hit number 5: Mudguard extensions for M 900
Especially practical are the mudguard extensions which will be available for the M 900 from autumn. They prevent unnecessary dirt accumulation on the vehicle especially with wide tyres. The mudguard extensions are not made of plastic but of steel plate and can be retrofitted to all 900 series tractors.

Steyr hit number 6: Even more comfort for M 9000 and 9100
More comfort and a pleasant atmosphere is provided by two innovations, which will be available for both the M 9000 and the M 9100: Similar to the CVT, an extra-large additional utility compartment will now be available on these tractors at the left rear. And: A bright elegant shade of grey in the cabin will ensure a fresh and pleasant working atmosphere.
