Heavy-duty hydraulics for heavy-duty work

Helping professionals out on their errands, Kompakts are equipped to take on a really heavy-duty day out in all conditions. With the STEYR hydraulics package operators will be pleased to be able to connect up and unhitch implements on their own in the knowledge that the Kompakt hydraulic system delivers all the power and control they need.
The Kompakt is the versatile tractor farmers and contractors need to handle a diverse range of operations, putting satisfaction into hard work.

High power and rapid response
Kompakts have a maximum lift capacity of 2600 kg at the end of the linkage delivered by a dedicated hydraulic pump which supplies a smooth 47 litres per minute for rapid hitch response. For tractors that have a number of remote services in operation simultaneously, a high output pump can also be supplied – further underlining the Kompakt’s extraordinary power to weight ratio.

Easy to use
The STEYR Kompakt is in a class of its own when it comes to technical features. Operators familiar with larger STEYR tractors will be aware of the advantages offered by the Kompakt Mutlicontroller; now featured in this series for lifting and lowering the front hitch smoothly and efficiently, quite literally at the touch of a button. This system is not only easy to use, it also saves time during headland turns and on repetitive tasks.

Efficient hitch response and dynamic ride control
As on larger tractors the draft control on the Kompakt will automatically adjust the working depth of a tillage implement in order to maintain a constant ground speed in changing soil conditions. The dynamic ride control is another “big tractor” feature, preventing the Kompakt from rocking when travelling at speed with a raised implement.

Advanced front hitch features
The front hitch on the STEYR Kompakt features the same degree of electronic draft control as the rear hitch; the two control clusters are conveniently located next to each other on the right-hand console. Now the operator can control weight alleviation for front-mounted implements from the driver’s seat.
